Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant, Primary Care

University Medical Partners (UMP), a partner of Stanford Medicine, is seeking a full-time board-certified/board-eligible primary care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our well-established primary care team in Castro Valley, California.

Position details:

• Full-time schedule: 40 patient-contact hours per week
• Clinical duties:
• ~50% direct patient care (primary care – manage your own panel and support care team)
• ~50% in-basket management and panel support
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of urgent care/primary care experience required
• Patient volume: Average of 10-12 patients per half day
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Setting: 100% outpatient with the ability to manage your own patient panel while providing cross coverage for colleagues, 1 in 9 weekend call
