Standards Committee – Community Council Member

Pembrokeshire County Council is seeking to appoint a Community Council Member to its Standards Committee in accordance with the rules laid down by Local Government Act 2000 and the Standards Committees (Wales) Regulations 2001.

Standards Committees are established to assist with the promotion and maintenance of high standards of conduct by elected and co‑opted members of all authorities as well as “Independent Members”.

You must be a member of a Town or Community Council within the Pembrokeshire County Council area to be eligible to sit on the Standards Committee.
