**Description:**
You will be the Staff Safety Engineer for the Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control Environmental Safety and Health team. Our team is responsible for ensuring safety compliance and risk mitigation across all programs at the Missiles and Fire Control facility in Troy, Alabama.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Staff Safety Engineer you will be responsible for hands‑on engagement with equipment, support staff, and processes while analyzing new technologies to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with ordnance safety requirements and to protect employees from potential hazards. You'll be expected to be hands on with daily interaction in the production manufacturing areas.
