Job Summary

Job Duties


+ Acts as primary point of contact for clinical staff regarding questions and concerns involving patients for general or specific purposes.

+ Participates in quality assurance measures and when needed technical instruction for clinical procedures.

+ Assists System Chief Perfusionist in the onboarding of new Perfusionist and Perfusionist Assistant staff including, but not limited to, their orientation and professional development, monitoring progression to independence following appropriate training, and determination if further training may be required.

+ Assists System Chief Perfusionist in coordinating activities of Perfusion staff including, but not limited to, schedules, daily responsibilities, continuing medical education, and other duties as assigned by the System Chief Perfusionist , Associate Vice President and Vice President.
