JOB SUMMARY Plays a central role in providing nursing care to residents in nursing home. Supports the Nurse Managers & Director (Nursing) in daily operations of the Ward. Responsible for providing nursing care and management to residents. JOB SCOPE CLINICAL, TRAINING, QUALITY AND RESIDENTS' SAFETY Comply with approved standards of nursing practices.
Provide nursing services requiring substantial and specialised nursing skills.
Work closely with the resident's doctor and the multi-disciplinary team to provide care to the residents update on changes in the residents' conditions and needs.
Ensure care delivery and nursing interventions as outlined in the care plan.
Evaluate resident's response to care interventions on a regular basis and recommend revision of care plans as necessary.
Works with allied health professionals and/ or initiate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures.
Carries out and supervises assessments of all new admissions.
