About Blood Services Group at HSA We secure the nation’s blood supply by ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply for public and private hospitals.

• Work with the blood collection team(s) to supervise operations of Whole Blood and Apheresis collection programmes
  • Whole Blood : Collection of blood in its complete form, not separated into its various components.
  • Apheresis : An automated process where plasma, platelets or red cells in the blood drawn are separated and the remaining components are returned to the donor during the donation process.
