A growing manufacturing company in Vista is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This position offers exposure to month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and operational accounting functions. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and looking to grow within a collaborative accounting department.


Responsibilities

General Accounting

+ Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy

+ Perform monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations

+ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes

+ Review financial transactions and investigate discrepancies

+ Support inventory and cost accounting activities

Reporting & Financial Support

+ Assist with preparation of financial statements and reporting packages
