Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support accounting operations for an automotive manufacturing organization in Auburn Hills, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is well suited for someone who can manage core accounting activities, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The role offers the opportunity to apply strong general ledger and journal entry experience while assisting with key accounting projects and monthly close activities.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate and timely financial records.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances to support reliable reporting.
• Assist with month-end close procedures, including account analysis and supporting schedules.
• Support the transfer and validation of financial data from QuickBooks into Epicor Kinetic to help ensure a smooth accounting system implementation.
