Job Description
As a Cost Engineer, you will play a critical role in providing insight and driving down the costs of parts and complex modules by simulating production processes. You will also provide early definition of manufacturing process flows and product cost calculations during the design phase in collaboration with the development and sourcing competences.
Requirements
Master degree in a mechanical engineering / industrial engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, welding, additive manufacturing, and precision mechanics, with the ability to assess trade‑offs, cost drivers, and feasibility.
Direct manufacturing or industrial engineering experience in an operational environment.
Proven ability to explain technical manufacturing choices and cost drivers to non‑manufacturing stakeholders such as sourcing leads, suppliers, and management.
