The Sr. Technical Vendor Manager is responsible for Performance Management, Capability Development and Risk Management of strategic Design & Construction service providers such as Consultants, General Contractors and subcontractors. The individual will build and maintain relationships with vendors and deploy strategies to efficiently deliver high-quality projects safely, on time and within the defined budget, looking for the establishment of partnerships and long‑term relations. Successful candidates will have strong level of ownership, bias for action and be highly motivated individuals who have Project/Contracts Management experience within the construction industry. The role will understand the details of Amazon buildings, and will deep dive on key construction partners by working in close collaboration with consultants, General Contractors and internal stakeholders such as Procurement, Pre‑construction, Construction and Technology.
