Job Description
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an **_Sr. Physician Assistant_** experienced in Emergency Medicine to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health care team.
**Specific Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Perform a comprehensive, accurate history and physical including chief complaint, presenting signs and symptoms, past medical history, and interval history. Recognize abnormal and significant findings and discuss with attending physician as appropriate.
+ Order diagnostics and interpret abnormal findings.
+ Discuss or staff cases with attending physician when appropriate per department standards based on acuity or venue.
+ Initiate Basic/Advanced life support in response to emergency situations.
+ Maintain technical proficiency with approved procedures including suturing, wound care, and orthopedic care.
+ Initiate and prescribe medications.
+ Complete all aspects of medical documentation in accordance with department standards...
