Primary Responsibilities
PURPOSE & PRIMARY FUNCTION

Performs work in the care, cleaning and housekeeping of all University buildings in accordance with established work procedures. Work is generally confined to smaller units on campus and the ice arena, requiring occasional assistance from and coordination of the efforts of Ice Technicians, Cleaners, and other University employees doing this type of work and verifies work time. Primary duties include: Coordinate and install ice sheet painted to NCAA specs, perform safe ice resurfacing and maintain electric Zamboni. Provide training to Ice Technicians as needed. Edge ice daily, measure ice thickness, and maintain uniform pad thickness. Monitor and record refrigeration system readings and oil levels. Inspect arena daily and submit work orders for repairs.
