Senior Accountant – Construction Services in Garden City, Long Island, NY

Anna Parson at Robert Half is seeking a detail oriented and systems savvy Senior Accountant for a well-established Construction Services client. This Senior Accountant role is ideal for someone who brings hands-on Construction or Project Accounting experience and enjoys working in a fast-paced, project‑driven small company environment.

As the Senior Accountant, you will:

+ Assist in the month end close including account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, project reporting, variance analysis and audit/tax supporting workpapers.

+ Prepare job costing, project analysis and backlog tracking on project pipelines.

+ Process full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

+ Prepare sales reporting and calculate related commissions.
