We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to support a non-profit organization through hands-on accounting leadership and detailed financial oversight. This position is ideal for an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can manage complex ledger activity, produce reliable financial reporting, and help guide accounting staff with a high level of independence. The role requires sound judgment, strong technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to maintain accuracy across multiple accounts, reconciliations, and compliance-related records.
Responsibilities:
β’ Review financial records and transaction documentation to confirm accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and post necessary adjustments.
β’ Process general ledger entries and maintain the integrity of account structures, including updates to account coding and descriptions when needed.
