Description We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join an education organization in Birmingham, Alabama on a contract-to-permanent basis. This role will support core accounting operations, produce accurate financial reporting, and help maintain strong fiscal controls across the business office. The ideal candidate brings solid experience in general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and nonprofit financial activity, along with the ability to work carefully with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities:
