Reporting to the Manager of Rehabilitation and Pharmacy, this role involves preventing, identifying, and treating speech and swallowing disorders in both children and adults. The Speech Language Pathologist will work within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to patient-centered care at the health centre, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient care within CASLPO's defined practice scope
• Conduct video fluoroscopy studies in collaboration with Diagnostic Imaging
• Participate in clinical rounds and communicate effectively with the team
• Travel weekly to alternate hospital and as needed to long-term care sites
• Maintain equipment and materials in optimal condition
