The Data Specialist, HPD & ENC Database is responsible for the compilation, production, maintenance, and management of the Hydrographic Production Database (HPD) and Electronic Navigational Charts (ENCs), including associated paper charts, in support of safe navigation and marine data governance. The role is accountable for the processing, validation, quality control, and delivery of hydrographic survey data in full compliance with IHO standards, recognized charting specifications, and organizational quality assurance requirements.

Process, validate, and integrate hydrographic survey data into HPD and ENC products in accordance with IHO standards and approved organizational procedures.

Update and maintain marine geospatial databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and availability of navigational and operational data.

Support the compilation, quality control, and submission of ENC updates to relevant authorities and stakeholders.
