Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive professional and ethical quality clinical services to patients in an effective and efficient manner.
- Monitor and manage clinical risks associated with direct patient care.
- Ensure compliance with clinical governance and quality management standards.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Maintain excellence in medical practice through continuous professional development of self and others.
- Perform the professional duties of an internist in adherence to the delineation of privileges, depending on the efficiency and skills of the individual.
- Perform duties in the Cardiology outpatient clinic evaluating patients with cardiovascular disease.
- Provide care to in‑patients admitted under own care.
- Provide on‑call emergency coverage for cardiology emergencies.
- Support continuous quality improvement.
- Develop and promote appropriate standards of care.
