Description of Position

Monitors and transports patients from inpatient and outpatient nursing units and emergency patients for imaging services procedures and provides necessary patient care as required. Incorporates the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementing, documenting and evaluating care while monitoring the patients. Responsible for following established standards of professional nursing practice as delineated by the medical center, working collaboratively with medical center personnel, and promoting teamwork among all members of the Health Care Team.
