Immediate Supervisor: Director of Special Education, Assistant Director of Special Education
Basic Function: The Supervisor of Special Education supervises the special education programs within areas of responsibility in accordance with Board objectives and policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Acts in accordance with negotiated contracts, district policy, and state and federal regulations. Promotes the programs of the South Bend Community School Corporation with staff, students, and other community members.
+ Delegates authority and responsibility where appropriate, and provides support to the employee assuming responsibility.
