Position Summary:
+ Monitor students during arrival, lunch, recess and dismissal times
+ Assist in classroom instruction under the direction of the general education and special education teacher
+ Implement Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) as written in the IEP
+ Assist students in following classroom schedule
+ Record and summarize data as directed by the special education teacher
+ Maintain daily communication with special education teacher
+ Assist in the modification/accommodation of classroom work according to the individual student’s IEP
