Our client, a Energy Services company, is looking for a Sourcing Manager for their Jackson, MI/Hybrid location. Responsibilities:

+ The Sourcing Manager negotiates with suppliers to obtain materials and services at the best prices (total cost of ownership) by developing and implementing strategies for cost reduction, supplier consolidation, quality improvements and process efficiencies.

+ Using strategic sourcing strategies and extensive knowledge of their commodity industry, we assist in effecting more efficient sourcing processes to save costs and maximize profitability.

+ Plays a crucial role in the client’s daily operations.

+ Completes non-strategic service and material purchase requests by verifying specifications and/or scope of work; determining if a Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ) is needed; administer the (RFI, RFP or RFQ); negotiate cost effective agreements with key suppliers b...
