Purpose Statement

Responsible for identifying materials suitable for corporate contracts within assigned commodity scope. Responsible for developing and administering contracts which take full advantage of the total corporate volume and developing supply chain strategies to yield component contracts at the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). Responsible for generating forecast and total purchase reports for management as required.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Develop, communicate, and execute the forward growth strategy for assigned commodities.
• Conduct industry research and maintain high business knowledge of manufacturers, suppliers and the marketplace.
• Establish performance objectives and associated metrics for the Commodities Group.
• Track performance and report progress monthly or quarterly as directed.
• Support sites in the region when critical component escalations arise.
