Job Description

Position: Sort Centre Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent – 40 hours

Location: Ryton

Shift: Days / Mon - Fri

What you’ll do:

  • Oversee and supervise processes and procedures within the Sort Centre daily 
  • Manage and lead a large team, ensuring performance and efficiencies are in place and are maintained daily
  • Communicate effectively and involve team in quality improvement groups to drive efficiencies
  • Daily financial activities required for office performance, budgets and manpower planning requirements
  • Ensure all quality checks are carried out in line with company process and procedures
  • Adopt a professional and courteous manner at all times when dealing with staff, customers and visitors
  • Maintain good housekeeping in line with H&S controls
  • Ensure all reports are emailed to relevant parties daily
