General Description

The Sonographer performs high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations to support accurate clinical diagnosis and patient management. The role requires competency across multiple ultrasound specialties, adherence to safety and infection control standards, and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound examinations (abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, small parts, breast, thyroid, vascular, musculoskeletal) according to approved protocols and physician requests, ensuring high diagnostic quality.
• Produce, evaluate, and submit sonographic images with accurate labelling, documentation, and prompt forwarding to radiologists for reporting.
• Prepare, assess, and educate patients by obtaining relevant history, explaining procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy, and providing safe patient handling throughout the examination.
