Job Description
The University of Regina seeks a Sociology Instructor for SOC 100 in Saskatoon this Winter 2027. Teach foundational sociological concepts and encourage critical thinking.
In this role, you will lead the Face-to-Face course SOC 100. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Sociology and have demonstrated effective teaching at the post-secondary level. Your expertise will allow students to explore socialization processes and cultural development, providing impactful learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive lectures and lead classroom discussions
• Develop assessment materials for student evaluations
• Implement technology effectively in course delivery
• Support diverse student needs throughout the course
• Manage course content using UR Courses (Moodle)
