Job Title: Social Worker – Referral & AssessmentLocation: Nottingham
Pay Rate: £38 per hour

Job Description:


Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client’s Referral & Assessment at Nottingham.


What will your responsibilities be?

  • Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.

  • Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.

  • Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).

  • Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.

  • Liaise with police, schools, health services, and other agencies to gather information.

  • Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.

  • Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.
