**Job Description**

**Job Title: Social Worker - Outpatient Adult Psychiatry**

The Adult Ambulatory Psychiatry Services has an opening for a Social Worker experienced in providing individual therapy and group therapy to patients who are clinically stable and would benefit from ongoing outpatient treatment.

**Qualifications**

+ NYS LMSW or LCSW.
+ Experience treating patients with serious/chronic mental illness.
+ Knowledge of and experience using evidence-based practices in treatment of adult mental illness.
+ Knowledge of DSM-V and experience in evaluation and diagnosis of mental illness
+ Exceptional clinical, collaborative, and organizational skills.
+ Knowledge of community resources for adults with serious and persistent mental illness.
+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) _preferred._
+ LCSW _preferred._
+ Minimum one year in current position.
