Job Description

Job Title: Social Work – Look After Children
Location: Aylesbury
Pay Rate: £40 per hour.

Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Look After Children team, based in Aylesbury.


What will your responsibilities be?

  • Manage a caseload of children who are in the care of the local authority.

  • Develop, implement, and regularly review care plans tailored to each child’s needs.

  • Ensure children’s placements (foster care, residential care, kinship care) are safe, stable, and supportive.

  • Promote the child’s health, education, and emotional wellbeing, ensuring access to appropriate services.

  • Maintain regular contact with children through statutory visits and direct work.

  • Prepare and present reports for Looked After Child Reviews.

  • Work closely with birth families, carers, schools, health professionals, and other agencies.
