Summary GS-09 and GS-11 Responsible for the psychosocial needs of Veteran residents of the Warriors Walk Hospice Unit. Assists the hospice/palliative care Interdisciplinary Treatment Team with screening referrals to the Hospice Unit from internal(Dorn VA Acute Units), from outside agencies, as well as self-referred Veterans and within the auspices of Geriatrics and Extended Care Service provides social work coverage for those Veterans actively being treated by the Columbia VA Oncology Department.
