Working within the Supported Lodgings Team which is within Housing Services.

The post supports Lodging Providers in the Community who are accommodating and supporting young homeless, usually aged between 16-21.

The young people may be care leavers, independent or unaccompanied asylum seekers.

The young people prepare for more independent accommodation.

The post holder will also create new placements matching young people with providers and carry out regular supervision.

The post holder will work with prospective new providers and our own panel to prepare them for a new role as a Lodgings Provider. There is some finance/payment work to support providers.

The role is likely to require some community visiting.

The post holder works with limited supervision.
