Job Description

The Tech-Business Officer is responsible for supporting A*STAR as the Strategic Innovation Engine of Singapore by translating our intellectual properties to commercial solutions through industry research collaborations, licensing and spin-off efforts to drive economic and social outcomes for Singapore.


:

  • Leverage strong domain and industry knowledge to understand companies? aspirations and challenges and thereby design and execute differentiated strategies to foster R&D partnerships and drive commercialization strategies.

  • Work closely with relevant industry partners to adopt technology portfolios and research capabilities through licensing, collaboration and facilitating creation of spinoff companies.

  • Leverage an ecosystem of industry partners, start-ups, academia, public agencies and industry associations to fuel the growth of the R&D and industry landscape in Singapore.
