Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a skilled member of the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine Division who is qualified by academic and clinical education to provide clinical support and patient care services under the supervision of staff physicians. The responsibilities of the NP shall be approved by the Medical Staff Board. The NP reports and is responsible to the supervising physician, and ultimately, to the Chair of the Department of Pulmonary & to the Medical Director of Sleep Medicine. The principal function of the NP will be to provide clinical support to the Medical Director of Sleep Medicine by opening clinical access for new and established sleep patients.
