Megan aged 6, loves watching the children’s series Bing, listening to music, swimming, sensory play and playing with her younger brother. Megan has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and a PEG in situ for all her nutrition, fluid, and medication. She is non-verbal and has recently started exploring Grid Player to support her communication and help make choices. Megan’s home is fully adapted to meet all her needs, and she has a care team in place providing around-the-clock support. She is a full-time wheelchair user. Megan’s team leader is going on maternity leave in February 2024, and we are looking for a Support Worker with experience in complex care to join the team which will include a full hand-over and transition period starting in the New Year.
