Based in Nanaimo, B.C., Makon Projects Ltd. (Makon) is a locally owned full-service general contracting company providing superior solutions for commercial, institutional, industrial, and multi-residential construction projects on Vancouver Island. Makon is seeking a skilled labourer who lives locally in the Comox area to work on a project located in Comox, BC for a fixed term starting June 15th, 2026 until August 31st, 2026. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of tasks, including maintaining a clean and safe worksite, using power tools, loading and delivering materials, operating equipment and machinery, helping to prepare the job site, and performing other required duties on site.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assist the site supervisor with coordinating and monitoring site activities
• Loading and unloading construction materials and moving them to work areas
• Perform carpentry, demolition, and other general tasks on site
