JOB DESCRIPTION:
The MGT Site Installation Engineer will install Medium Gas Turbines (20–62 MW) and related equipment at customer sites, requiring over 80% travel across North America. Daily responsibilities include directing subcontractors and participating in site meetings to coordinate installation activities.
The selected candidate will manage material deliveries, provide regular status updates and lessons learned to engineering and management, and utilize a strong mechanical background to read the drawings and schematics required for installation.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee early‑stage project activities, including placing equipment on foundations, bolting down components, giving guidance to the customer, verifying air/exhaust/enclosure installation, aligning equipment, supporting oil flushing and gas hookups, and coordinating concurrent mechanical work.
