**The Role**
We are currently seeking experienced and motivated candidates for the role of SiL SIE (Software-in-the-Loop Simulation Integration Engineer) to support the Global Virtual Engineering (GVE) department. This role is part of a group responsible for creating virtual environments to enable calibration, verification, and validation of embedded controllers for engine, transmission, hybrid, electrification, chassis, and body electronics.
The Simulation Integration Engineer is responsible for leading the move to virtual engineering by leading the integration of full-vehicle cross-functional co-simulation packages that are used for all aspects of vehicle development. This position involves high level of collaboration with teams throughout General Motors including Propulsion Engineering (PE), Vehicle Motion Embedded Controls (VMEC), Embedded Platform Systems & Infrastructure (EPSI), Calibration, Algorithm, Vehicle Performance, Validatio...
