A rewarding part-time contract opportunity is available for an experienced American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreter to serve as a Language Facilitator in a behavioral high school classroom. This role focuses on one-on-one communication support for a 9th-grade student adapting to the classroom after attending a Residential Day School Program. The student, equipped with cochlear implants, hearing aids, and an ALD device, requires ASL interpretation during instructional times only.
This is a job share with coverage needed exclusively on Fridays (6.5 hours per week), with occasional substitution needs if the regular language facilitator is absent during the week.
