Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting a 9th-grade student in a behavioral classroom setting. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will facilitate communication and access to instruction for a student who uses cochlear implants, hearing aids, and an ALD device, and who is transitioning from a residential day school program. This unique role will place you onsite each Friday, collaborating in a job share arrangement with a second facilitator who covers Monday through Thursday.
Key Qualifications:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Experience interpreting in educational or behavioral classroom settings
• Current, valid licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Ability to adapt communication techniques for students with cochlear implants and ALD devices
