Job Description
Responsibilities
- Source, negotiate and manage freight forwarders for all deliveries.
- Prepare and issue logistics/purchase requisition.
- Monitor freight forwarder performance and perform cost reduction initiatives in all logistics activities.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely delivery as stipulated in the contract/purchase order.
- Prepare and handle full set of shipping documents including LC documentation, COO, Insurance, delivery order, packing list, commercial invoice, monthly reports etc.
- Coordinate with Finance team on shipping payment, invoices, warranty and LC negotiation.
- Monitor and update delivery status on weekly basis.
- Compile reports for management review.
- Coordinate on delivery inspection and expediting works.
- Interact and communicate with internal and external customers on order/delivery status.
- Other projects and ad-hoc duties as per assigned.
