Role Details:

The Mining Department of Tarkwa Gold Mine seeks to employ an experienced and self-motivated individual for the position of Shift Supervisor – Production. The incumbent will use acquired expertise to ensure the safe utilisation of assigned equipment by assigned subordinates, resources, competencies and skills to meet daily planned production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the achievement of qualitative and quantitative output through the efficient utilization of available resources.

Initiate cost saving practices and productivity improvement of specially assigned projects.

Maintain a culture of Continuous Improvement in the section.

Investigate all accidents / Incidents and report on same.

Organizes personnel and equipment to safely and effectively achieve daily targets.

Visits all areas of responsibility and ensure that correct work procedures are followed.
