Cleveland-Cliffs Steel has an immediate opening for a Shift Manager Operations at our Middletown, OH location. The Shift Manager coordinates the Safety and Quality activities and oversees production of a production line in accordance with safety, material quality and production standards. We have multiple openings across the plant.


Summary of Responsibilities
+ Supervise approximately fifteen (15) hourly bargaining unit personnel per turn and instruct these personnel in job requirements and enforces conformance with both company and department policies.
+ Lead daily and monthly safety briefings with hourly employees.
+ Resolve problems created by breakdowns, scheduled changes, metallurgical procedure changes, etc.
+ Collaborate with other departments and personnel to assure the efficient operations.
+ Other duties as assigned.
