To Control the Departmental total cost within the budgeted norms. To maintain work discipline all levels. To monitor outside rolling. To increases mill utilization, reduce all consumption and cobbles. To adhere to systems. To check spare parts availability & maintain mill spares. To arrange furnace repairs. To attend technical problem in the mills. To take up all safety related jobs and housekeeping.
