**Job Description**

We are seeking a highly skilled Set-Up Mechanic with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in CNC high precision manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of relevant experience and possess the ability to program and set-up precision CNC machines.

**Responsibilities**

+ Program and set-up CNC machines
+ Read and interpret complex part drawings and turn them into functional parts.
+ Cost reduce jobs once in production.
+ Set-up and operate all grinding equipment, including basic set-up, tool changing, and minor adjustments.
+ Use multiple metrology methods to verify part configuration and conformance to print specifications.
+ Develop tooling and gauging to produce and measure complex part geometries.
+ Troubleshoot parts during set-up and run cycles to ensure quoted cycle times are met.
