Job purpose

The Service Writer proactively and reactively coordinates repairs for the fleet. The Service Writer initiates services and repairs by ascertaining performance problems and services requested/required; verifying warranty and service contract coverages; developing estimates; planning technicians (some circumstances), scheduling outside vendors, reviewing and completing repair orders.

Duties and responsibilities


+ Schedule, track, and reconcile all in-house & third-party repairs, including communication of status and completion

+ Check daily, process and schedule all offsite work relative to outside PM’s, break downs and DVIR reported issues.
