The Service Coordinator in the operating room Facilitates smooth operations of a patient service area by providing clerical support for healthcare team members, patients, and families on an inpatient unit.

Facilitates communication with and between staff members, patients, and family members to ensure that information related to patient conditions and concerns is relayed in a timely manner.
