All About The Role (Care And Support Role)

Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Do you want to make a difference? We’re looking for someone energetic, kind, and enthusiastic to join our team at the City Centre Hub, based at City College Peterborough.

Your role will be to support people with learning disabilities and autism to build confidence, learn new skills, and have a fun-filled day! You’ll help people to take part in a diverse range of meaningful activities whilst encouraging and promoting independence.

You'll help plan, lead and run activities both in the hub and out in the local area. These sessions might include:

• Cooking, music, arts and crafts and sensory sessions
• Sports and fitness activities like boxing, cycling, sailing and dance

You’ll support people throughout the day with their daily care, communication and behavioural needs; and also provide assistance on our hub transport.
