Duties Description The New York State Education Department’s (NYSED) Office of Adult Career and Continuing Education Services – Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR) is seeking candidates for a Regional Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor position in the Training Unit in Southern Tier, Mid-Hudson, Middletown, Kingston (will cover those offices in addition to White Plains and Spring Valley). ACCES-VR is responsible for ensuring individuals with disabilities receive quality vocational rehabilitation services provided within the parameters of Federal, State and NYSED regulations. Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Develop training curricula in conjunction with the training unit team and assist other ACCES-VR units as needed to prepare and present trainings;
