If you've worked deep in real-time A/V pipelines and want to do it again with people who've shipped this kind of thing before, this is worth reading. The problem They're building a native desktop app for Mac and Windows. The core stack is Rust, with WebRTC and some GStreamer. In a browser, WebRTC handles huge amounts of the low-level work for you. Building it natively means they write or modify much of that themselves.
