Job Description
Responsibilities
- Understand project and contract specifications and provide technical support in commercial discussions involving variation orders, scope, responsibility, and cost disputes with project stakeholders.
- Review and comment on Topside and Marine telecommunication systems deliverables issued by engineering sub‑contractors, such as design philosophies, single line diagrams, room layout, deck arrangement, cable schedules, hazardous area plans, etc.
- Ensure designs comply with contract, classification and local authority regulations and monitor progress.
- Monitor drawing schedules and planned telecommunication engineering design activities to keep them aligned with the overall project execution plan.
- Perform system design verification, including PAGA sound coverage, PAGA voltage‑drop calculation, link budget, and system redundancy cabling.
